And we are here on this Wednesday with a lot happening in our world. And I want to start with just thanking Victor

Wembeñama for an athlete of his standing, literally and figuratively, towering above all others,

to say what he said yesterday in the

way that he said it, as softly as he may have and his actual voice, is really important.

It's great that he did.

And the fact that he, and it's with English not being his first language, to do this in a way that

provided such context, thank you, Victor Wembeyanama for saying what you've said. And I hope

it gives some cover for others to do similarly that we've heard from retired athletes, we've heard from

some others here and there, just in general about what's happening in the world.

I just think it's really cool that he decided against the wishes of his team and maybe his league to go out and say what he said.

It takes a lot of guts for a young person who is not from this country,

not speaking in his native language, to know that he could do something significant and something important.

But, you know, I'm conscious also that saying everything, you know, that's on my mind would have a cost that's too great for me right now.
