Summary

The unhinged manifesto of the recent would-be White House Correspondents' Dinner assassin is nothing more than a regurgitated checklist of the radical Left's favorite lies and dangerous conspiracy theories. From thoroughly debunked Russia collusion hoaxes to entirely fabricated accusations regarding the border, the shooter's twisted justifications prove exactly how poisonous mainstream media rhetoric has become. This violent escalation is the terrifying, direct result of Marxist influencers championing "social murder" and turning actual criminals into woke folk heroes. Unless the Left finally abandons its relentless campaign of Trump Derangement Syndrome and stops glorifying political violence, this lethal echo chamber will only continue to radicalize the unstable, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words:” “Obviously, Cole Thomas Allen is unhinged. He's crazy. He may be bright by graduating from Caltech, but he didn't seem to be very bright in his manifesto. But what he wrote as an exegesis of why he was doing it is an encapsulation of ideology that's promulgated by today's Left.”  👉 The Daily Signal cannot continue to tell stories, like this one, without the support of our viewers: http://dailysignal.com/donate 👉Don’t miss out on Victor’s latest short videos by subscribing to The Daily Signal today. And it's curious, it is a petri dish of all of conspiracy theories, all the lies, all the rage that's been promulgated by the left.

0:56.2

And it really is confirmatory evidence that when the left threatens people and they come up with these crazy ideas and they endorse violence,

1:05.7

there are people who are very susceptible to that.

And this shooter was won. And he proves it with his manifesto.

He says he wants to kill Donald Trump for three reasons, that Donald Trump is a pedophile.

1:20.3

There's no evidence that Donald Trump has ever had sexual relations with any child or anybody under 18.

Where does he get that? He gets that from the conspiracy theories

1:31.3

of the left and some on the right that the Epstein files were suppressed because Donald Trump

was engaging in sexual relations with young girls. There's no evidence that he ever did that. In fact,

we have testimony from his consort,

Ms. Maxwell, that Donald Trump didn't do that, and other people, young women, had said the same thing.

1:52.7

The second thing, he said he's doing this to kill a rapist. Well, he should have remembered that

1:57.9

George Stephanopoulos, who used that term falsely, forced ABC to pay a multi-million dollar damage settlement to Donald Trump.

2:07.6

That comes from the trial in which the judge in the E. Gene Carroll trial said that Donald Trump was guilty of sexual assault, and a jury in New York found him guilty, although it was a very tenuous evidence, but they never said that he was guilty of rape. The judge conflated the two and said it was almost the same, but it wasn't.

2:34.7

They deliberately, despite all the evidence that he had not committed rape because Eging

Carroll's testimonies were unreliable and kind of outlandish to tell you the truth, he was never
