We've now had a couple of weeks to digest what happened on Election Day, even as some ballots are still being counted.

Were you at all, were you personally surprised by the results we saw,

or was this in your realm of possibility of outcomes for the night?

No, I think I was surprised. I had looked at the real clear politics, not just the polls,

but there are calculations of the accuracy

of particular polls based on prior performance. So I really paid a lot of attention to the

Emerson poll or Trafalgar or Inside Advantage. And they were the most off on this particular.

I think Kerry Lake was nine up in the Trafalgar.

So that was a shock.

And then to double check that I called some people I know that are in politics,

house members and retired house members.

And they all assured me that they thought this was going to be a blowout.
