farm. He's an almond farmer now. He's a professor of the classics. Got a BA from the University

of California Santa Cruz back in 75. Went on to the American School of Classical Studies

and Athens, then a PhD in classics from Stanford 1980. Registered independent, those certainly

he sounds conservative. And he's still in California doing his thing and prolific in
