God has a word for you.

In second, Corinthians, the fourth chapter.

Verse 8.

It says, we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed.

We're perplexed, but not in despair.

Persecuted, but not forsaken cast down but not destroyed he's talking about what he sees what he feels what he

hears but he doesn't end with that. Trouble on every side.

You can see it, you can hear it, you can read about it, you feel it, but do you stop there?

No, you got trouble?

He said, yeah, we got trouble on every side, yet we are not distressed about it.

Can you have trouble on all sides and not be distressed?

Most folks have not learned how to do this, but you can.

I said you can.

You know, I grew up just next door in Mississippi, and I don't know, I would imagine

there's a lot of similarities here.

But we were taught to worry.

We were trained to worry.

We were trained growing up that if you care, you worry.

Right?

I mean, for instance, if your mama is laying up in the hospital and you're not worried,

you're just sorry.
