Carrie is a prolific author who's working on her 30th book. But in 2016, she heard a trailer for an

upcoming book by international speaker and evangelist Christine Kane. And to Carrie's shock,

that trailer included portions of Carrie's book Untangled, which was published the year

before. As Carrie will discuss, her discovery led to a process that she likens to David going up

against Goliath. Given that Christine Kane was a sister in Christ, Carrie said she fully expected

that Kane would own her error and make things right. Butary says that didn't happen. This led to a lawsuit

and settlement in 2018, but just last week, someone posted on social media that Cary should be

happy that Cain stole her work. The only bitterness would be because of the monetary loss, the woman
