yesterday to congratulate him on his

historic win. Not since the late 1800s has a candidate succeeded in returning to the White House

after initially losing a second term. Later in the day, Harris delivered her concession speech in front of a

crowd at Howard University, her alma mater, where just half a day earlier, she had hoped to declare

victory.

The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted

for.
