So, John, I don't know if this is going to make the television world deliriously happy instantly,

but the Nielsen Company is finally expanding its definition of television, changing how it's going to define TV viewing,

to include some other things that some of us use,

such as Netflix, Amazon, Xbox, PlayStation.

They're not quite ready to go like iPads, but they're not quite there yet.

But as soon as September, they will be starting to expand it.

And the studios, the networks have been kind of desperate because they, of course, have been complaining for the longest time that the ratings are not really necessarily reflective of what people are watching.

No, the complaint has meant that the ratings really undersample how much some of these shows are watched. And we've talked in the past about DVR ratings that a lot of the people who time shift
