In honor of all of that, the conversation we're going to have today is with a man named

Chief Michael Carmichael.

He is the founder of an organization called Chekovet.

He retired as an Army Chief Foreign Officer for, he served 10 combat deployments to countries

like Iraq.

He was in special forces for 22 years, which is a long time.

He has served multiple deployments as I pointed out.

What is the toll of a 20 year war on our military men and women?

Have we even comprehended what we have done to so many young people, to so many people,

to have served multiple deployments in these different arenas?

We often hear the number of 22 vets a day, but it has been reported recently that it might

even be double, that it's significantly higher than 22 vets a day.
