During the summer months in Scotland,

agricultural shows are a huge event for many.

Now, they feature all sorts of competitions

from floral art right through to the tasty scones,

but it's really

the livestock classes that shows are probably best known for because it provides the chance for

breeders to show off the best of their particular breeds. I recently met up with a northeast

veteran cattle breeder and judge to not only reminisce on his early days in the farm but to get up to date with
