As American citizens, our democracy is not to be taken for granted.

It is a remarkable gift that we have been given through the mortal sacrifice of generations.

And it comes to us with a certain responsibility.

And that responsibility is to be thoughtful, critical consumers of information, thinkers.

And if what you're doing in your political activities is watching a very narrow set of

websites, far left or far right, and what you're doing is you're sitting in front of your

computer and you're getting angrier and angrier and more and more emotional and you're

pretty sure that the other side is not just wrong, but they are evil and they are unpatriotic.

You are doing your obligation to citizenship.

A terrible disservice.
