Senator Kamala Harris, specially launching her 2020 presidential campaign Sunday, making

the announcement of the packed rally in front of her city hall in her hometown of Oakland.

With fidelity to country and with the fighting spirit I got from my mother, I stand for you

today to announce my candidacy for President of the United States.

The Oakland Police Department is estimating that more than 20,000 people attended that event.

Which is a giant crowd, although that's her hometown.

So who knows what that means in terms of her appeal nationwide.

I heard one guy interviewer said, you know, if Amy Klobuchar had her announcement within

a mile in my house, I'd probably go into that.

That's pretty funny.
