Hello, hello everyone. Welcome back to the Epic Gardening Podcast. Today, the last day of the year, December 31st, 2017. I really hope you had a good year. I certainly did and a lot of that is thanks to all of you who listen to this

podcast. So just so you know the Epic Gardening website, podcast, YouTube, the whole

thing, the whole she, the whole Shabang was a passion project for me. I used to work in publishing,

I used to work in marketing, I was just a gardener out of the pure love of it, and eventually I left my publishing job and people like you who have connected

with me and really listened to you know just some of the info that I have to share and

have emailed me and read the website and watch the videos. You are the people who allow

me to do what I do now, which is this. I don't do anything else. I work on Epic Gardening.

I try to teach more people how to grow

plants, just connect with nature, waste less, eat more, good stuff. So thanks for

Something that is an interesting little idea so it has to do with worm composting and it's a question

that I got again from my friend Isaac who has been sending me a lot of good questions these days so

thanks Isaac and so his question is this he lives in an area that has an HOA

Homeowners Association for those of you who don't know what that is.

And they prohibit compost piles. So he's wondering some ways that he can

introduce some composting into his garden. wondering some

composting into his garden, which he has a pretty extensive garden,

and he talked to me about a PVC vertical idea

that has to do with worm composting.

And so the idea is pretty simple.

What you do is you take a PVC pipe,
