We praise Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, we send blessings and salutations of one Muhammad

salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

His companions, his household, we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to bless them all and

to bless every one of us and to grant us goodness in this world and the next to forgive

our shortcomings to forgive our weaknesses, to forgive us during this beautiful night of Ramadan

and during this beautiful month of Ramadan, may Allah grant us the ability to change our

lives.

For indeed the first verse that we heard this evening in Salatu Tawih was a verse of Surat

al-Ambiyah.

We Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala tells us how we are not even thinking about the things we

are supposed to be thinking about.

The accounting of man is drawing so near yet man is unfortunately turning away in oblivion,

having forgotten.

Man is not thinking of the fact that his death is so close, his his ab with Allah, his

accounts with Allah so close yet he is worried about

everything else.

Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is not thinking of the day that he is going to be reckoned.

The day that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will take account of every single thing.

Allah says in another place in the Quran.
