Hello there, history friends. Normally, I just start these episodes straight away if you're a patron,

or I say hello there and talk about Patreon or advertising or some other stuff if you are just a

regular listener. Today, though, I want to talk about something that everyone, no matter what listener

or patron you are, will enjoy. And it's something to be very, very excited about indeed. Those of you who follow

my life and the exploits of history podcasting or just podcasting in general might be aware

that back in November, myself and several of my Agora buddies, met up for what was called the

Sound Education podcast conference in Harvard University.

It was really fun and it was pretty well received and quite successful and we all had a great time doing it.

So much so that we've decided, or most of us have decided, to get together and try it out again.

Now, I should specify beforehand that unfortunately,

yours truly, is not going to be able to take part this time around, mostly because, well,

it's in New York, and that's far away and expensive to get to, etc, etc. And I've already

committed myself to previous holidays and excuses to spend money in other areas. However,

if you were disappointed that I won't be there, you should make sure to check out the list of

people who will be there, because let's just say there's more than enough reasons to go to what

So first and foremost, what is happening and where is it happening?

And when is it happening?

Well, to answer all those questions, on Saturday the 29th of June from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Norwood Club in Chelsea, New York.

We're having what's being called an Agora day, where several conference rooms will be filled with Agora people and non-Agoara people talking about podcasting and meeting you hopefully in person if you want to come and say hi.

That again, the 29th of June at 11am to 7pm in the Norwood Club Chelsea.
