1:24.4	When we left off, the last time, General Paiton had taken over on the French side, and as a result,
1:31.3	French defense at Verdun stiffened.
1:34.3	The German drive-on-Verdon was stalled just a week after it started.
1:38.3	Furthermore, French artillery on Le Morte-om, on the left bank of the Meuse was devastating German troop movements
1:46.6	on the right bank, causing the Germans to decide that now the left bank had to be attacked
1:52.8	before the right bank could be fully secured.
1:57.1	Back on the right bank, on March 4th to the northwest of Fort Duomont, the Germans finally took the chunks of masonry and rock dust that used to be Duomont Village.
2:09.6	The French 33rd infantry was defeated and pushed out with tremendous losses.
2:15.2	One battalion of the regiment was reduced to 19 men. At Duomo village, the Germans
2:21.5	took a few prisoners, among them being a young and badly wounded captain named Charles de Gaulle.
2:33.0	The French commander in the area immediately launched a counterattack, because the offensive
