Does it have to be Venus retrograde right now?

Well, coming up out of all moments in life, out of all times, does it have to be right

now? Because there's something special in my life right now and I'm just, you know, it's

gonna perhaps potentially make things more challenging or make things more strong, strengthen

things. And for those of you who are curious what Venus retrograde even is, I mean, I had

an idea and inkling, but I, for this episode and also for my own life had to dive deeper

to really learn about Venus retrograde and this is what I gathered. So Venus retrograde,

of course, refers to the apparent backward motion of the planet Venus in its orbit around

the Sun, like when we enter Mercury retrograde, it just seems as though Mercury is appearing

in a backward motion, but it's not, but it's an illusion. And that is what we observe from Earth.

And so retrograde motion is that optical illusion that occurs when a faster moving planet,

and in this case, us Earth, overtakes a slower moving planet, Venus, in this case, in their

respective orbits. And so when Venus goes into retrograde, it appears to move backward in the

sky for a certain period of time. And this happens because Earth's orbit is closer to the Sun

than Venus's orbit. And as Earth passes Venus, it creates this illusion of Venus moving in reverse.

And so Venus retrograde typically occurs every 18 to 19 months and it lasts so long.

Last, well, not really, but it seems like it's gonna last so long. It lasts approximately 40 to

43 days. You may know that Venus is known to be the planet of love and relationships and

sexuality and pleasure and also beauty and aesthetics and also values and desires, even finances and

overall harmony and balance and also social interaction and diplomacy in a sense as we navigate

social situations that governs our ability to establish harmonious connections and maintain
