It's somewhat of worst.

Floods are awful, and floods really creates so much damage.

But floods also show you what's working and what's not working.

And the amount of money that we spend on the MTA and their projects and their renovations and their rehabs and their pensions and everything else.

Yep.

It shows you when you have a catastrophic flooding like we had yesterday, how many things are just broken and don't work?

Yeah.

I mean, and it's just, it's remarkable.

I mean, that was a lot of rain in a short amount of time, which we don't normally get around here.

We're not exactly a flash flood area like you would normally see maybe in Texas or somewhere out there in the Midwest.

But yeah, it was on hurricanes and things of that nature. Yeah, but this wasn't a hurricane. This was just a straight up thunderstorm dumping these copious amounts of rain on it. Five inches of rain like in Queens yesterday. And, you know, I don't know, it just. It's still filthy there. I know. But, you know, when you have 8.5 million people or 17 million people in the tri-state area,

there's a lot of things that can go wrong.

Yeah.

And it just, it just, it just never ceases to amaze me.

How many things are not right?

Yeah.

Something like this happens.

Now, it doesn't happen very often, like you said.

But when it does happen, it does really highlight all the things that are either, you know, mismanaged, you know, money spent the wrong way or just things just not done the right way. It loose ends. Yeah, loose ends for sure. I mean, you also saw a lot of flooding on the roads that was just wild to watch.
