In fact, it's pretty likely you've seen a version of Charlie. He's maybe the most famous

ventriloquist dummy ever created.

Edgar had originally sketched out what he wanted Charlie to look like and he hired someone to carve him out of wood and Charlie had this signature look this black tuxedo occasionally a top hat and a monocle.
