All right. If I sound crappy today, and I think I probably sound okay now, but this might not last.

I have a cold, or I have allergies or something.

So, excuse that, I'm going to be drinking a lot of water during this tape.

DJ, how are you doing today?

Well, I was about to say, and if I sound crappy, it's because I'm watching game four of the American League Divisional series, the Yankees versus the Red Sox. And for those who don't know, I'm a Yankee fan. Now, I realized that by the time this podcast has heard the result to be well known, I'm just saying that I'm watching this game in real time, so my mood may reflect what's going on.

So this is just all to say, if I sound crappy, it's because the Yankees are losing

slash have lost. So you all know where we are right about now. The Yankees are down 3-0 and

the bottom of the third. Top of the fourth. So this is all very unimportant and unnecessary,

but whatever, man.

I mean, it's good context to understand our show because I don't want people to think your bad mood is completely based off of the movie we watched this week, or if it is,

if you do have a bad mood because of it, then it's good to know that it's a double bad mood.

And anything you say can be explained as so extreme because of the game.

Well, that's a great point.

Just so all cards on the table, I did get out of Venom about two hours ago.

So I'm very fresh on this movie.

And I don't remember chunks of the middle but we'll get to it.

As am I, I actually just watched this movie too pretty recently today. So I think we're both
