And our first main topic today gets submitted to us by Ed Kaye, who writes,

I'm sure you've heard by now that Norman Donald passed away after losing his long battle

with cancer.

I will always remember him as Bert Reynolds on Saturday Night Live, Celebrity Jeopardy.

But the guy was one of the most recognizable voices in Hollywood.

When you hear it, you instantly knew it was him, RIP, to a legend.

All right, thanks a lot for sending that in.

And yeah, it was right near the tail end of yesterday's John Campius show, as we were

doing the live viewer questions, that news broke that Norman Donald had passed away.

And like most people, I had no idea he was even sick.

A part of the news story was that he's actually been privately battling cancer for like nine

years.

And he finally lost to it yesterday at the age of 61.

He has been one of those entertainers that you always look at and you think, how is this

guy not much bigger in the industry than he is?

I mean, don't get me wrong.

You say the name Norman Donald, people know he you're talking about.

That's pretty big.

But he had a talent.

He had a talent level that to me should have had him on the same level, like notoriety

wise as as a Kevin Hart or you know, other guys like that stature in the comedy world.

When this guy was on, he was simply one of the funniest, quickest, sharp, witted dudes.
