I'm doing very well. I thought I was hosting for a second because it's flashed up on screen. I'm not prepared.

I'm absolutely on top of the world. I'm so glad to be co-hosting with you tonight. Absolutely. Two nights in a row. Our top story tonight. The USA has been in a

covert war with Venezuela since September. In that time, lethal force has been used at least 22

times against small vessels off of Venezuela's coast, killing multiple civilian crews. In one case, a so-called double-tap strike,

alleged to have been ordered by the US Secretary of War Pete Hexeth, who was said to have told

military officials to, quote, kill everybody, was used to blow up a boat and then kill two

survivors clinging to a fragment. The Atlantic ran an article on that double tap,

including this chilling extract. They were unarmed, incommunicado, and adrift as they repeatedly

attempted to write what remained of their boat. At one point, the men raised their arms and seemed

to signal to the US aircraft above, a gesture some who watched a video of the

instant interpreted as a sign of surrender. Then, a second explosion finished the men off, leaving

only a bloody stain on the surface of the sea. Footage of the two men's desperate final moments

made some viewers nauseated, leading one to nearly vomit. It was worse than we had been led to believe,

one person told us. The USA has so far justified its attacks on those vessels by claiming

they're engaged in what the White House calls narco-terrorism, apparently escalating the

metaphorical war on drugs to full-on combat. But that characterization of the U.S.'s assault on Venezuela

appeared to be overturned entirely yesterday when the White House dramatically escalated its

undeclared war on the country.
