It is Wednesday, March 18th, 2026. This is a very special WBC edition of baseball today.

That is not my man, Trevor Plouf. That is my dude, Miguel Roas. I am Chris Rose, producer Dan

along for the ride as well. Plouf's been hanging out, of course, with talking Jake and the rest

of the crew down in Miami watching the World Baseball Classic semis.

Now the final, he can't be with us.

But pretty good consolation prize is a guy who grew up

in Venezuela and is all smiles.

Go ahead, pop that jersey if you want to.

We're here, baby.

We are on the top of the world right now.

Venezuela just put an amazing WBC. What a tournament overall.

But I think Venezuela shows the world like the kind of baseball that we have going on right now,

especially in this last decade.

So many good players representing

the country year in, year out, a bunch of all-stars. We got an MVP, a unique season on

Ronald Acuna a couple of years ago, 4070. First time you see something like that happening.

I think this much of attention, it was due to happen to a Venezuelan team because we've

been putting our country in a really big place and a really top place in baseball.

But I feel for the people in Venezuela to get all together and watch what we're all about

in baseball, especially in America, and the best baseball in the world,

in the United States.
