The protests are much bigger than we've seen in the last few days. The streets up until now during the day being quite quiet there had

been pockets of violence but here in an area which is very opposition heavy

there are far more people out on the street from this far more police just watching and waiting to see what will happen.

We have to defend with something. We use rocks, we use bottles, everything that we can find here, we use to protect us. It's a critical situation. They are shooting us. They are killing people.

We are without food, without medicines.

I'm standing in front of about four or five burnt-out motorcycles.

The protesters are using it to blockade the streets and the police I believe are just

circling around this neighborhood waiting for the next kind of hot point to kick off. They want to show they are powerful, but the only thing they have is fear, is repression,

and it's violence.

And when Woberman has only repression, fear and violence is very weak.

It's a country that has the largest proven oil reserves in the world, but incredibly

around four and five Venezuelans live in poverty. People queue for bread on a daily basis and struggle

to find medicines when they fall ill.

I went to cover the unfolding political and economic crisis in Venezuela and found a country

divided.

This was my week.

Unfortunately we have an opposition here in Venezuela which has become irrational, violence, aggressive.

The world needs to know what happened in Venezuela.
