Well, good morning, everybody. I'm Father Chris Aylar, one of the Marian priests here at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy.

And we want to welcome you to join us in probably the most extensive talk we have ever done in these 125, whatever they are now, number of explaining the faith.

This is a gigantic topic that theologians dedicate their

entire lives to studying. I had multiple courses in seminary, reading all the documents,

and we're going to try to teach you in this one section. Our topic, Vatican 2. And that's a big one. Is it good? Is it bad? Do we have to

accept it? Can we accept it? Do we have to reject it? Can we reject it? We'll talk about all that.

we ask you send the Holy Spirit down upon us to enlighten us, to give us the gift of wisdom,

to be able to discern what is of you, what is of the evil one, And what you wish us to do to follow your will?

Nobody seems to agree. Everybody has their own opinions. Okay. So I want to start with the fact that nobody

denies there's abuses. All right. The abuses that came after Vatican 2. Let's look at our slide.
