Summary

Between our kids’ school schedules, extracurricular activities, and social plans, we spend a lot of time driving them around. And when they get older and start driving themselves, a whole new world of independence (and issues) presents itself. In this special episode of The Mom Hour, Meagan and Sarah talk about how we use car time to connect with our kids and how we handle some of the challenges that crop up over time, from crying babies and sibling squabbles to sensory overload and car sickness. Buckle up!

whatever and sleep in the back, whatever. That's not what we're talking about

today. It's not Van down by the river. It's not a

1:00.0

actually it was funny. Recently there was an article in The New York Times that

1:04.2

was like about, you know, somebody tried out Van Life and did not enjoy it. And

1:09.4

it made me kind of chuckle because I was thinking about like, Van Life has

1:13.8

become this idea of like a young single carefree person, you know, road tripping.

1:21.2

But moms are the OG Van Lifeers. I think you're right. And if not, if not like

conversion vans, then many vans or station wagons or SUVs like we, we have lived

in a car more than anybody without kids can even like imagine. Think of it this way.
