me today. It's not just Julie Bauer-Roth.

Today I have a guest and she's very, very special.

Today I have my friend Vanessa on.

Vanessa and I used to be neighbors. I don't know why I couldn't find that word, but we used to be neighbors and I forced my friendship upon her until she gave in and now we are besties. This woman is a person

I immediately was drawn to. I knew I wanted to be around. She oozes confidence.

She is one of the most kind people I've ever met in my life.

She will see someone in a room who maybe feels a little uncomfortable.

Maybe they don't know everybody there.

And she's immediately next to them

asking them questions getting them comfortable. She is a person who wants to

know about people's lives, wants to know their ticks, wants to know about people's lives, wants to know their ticks, wants to know why they are the way they are.

She doesn't judge, she just immediately is curious. That's what's so cool. She's so Ted Lasso, you know what I mean? No judgment, just curiosity. And she has a story of, well first we talk about

botholes a little bit but then she is a tough go.

She went through some really hard things the past few years and she'll get into that

but we really talk about grief and we talk about loss.

And I thought it was something that would be great to talk about on here,

because I haven't experienced that a ton myself.

And Vanessa really hadn't until about two years ago and then it all

came crashing down in a really hard way and she's had to experience life after grief and life is very different after grief and it's finding

yourself and it's finding a new world while the world is still exactly the same in a way.
