Hello and welcome to Sky Talkers. I'm your host Charlotte.

Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin, and welcome to a

very exciting episode where, oh boy, we got to sit down virtually, of course, because everything

is virtual these days, talk with the one and only Vanessa Marshall from Star Wars Rebels.

It was such a special interview, and I'm really excited for you all to

hear it. We start off by talking about the Clone Wars and then we talk about the theme of found family

and kind of revisit an episode that we have done that we did in 2018, all about family, found family,

blood family, the whole shebang in terms of themes within Star Wars.

And we kind of approached this with Vanessa Marshall because she, you know, she plays Hera.

She is without a doubt what people call on the internet as space mom.

And we kind of wanted to talk about what we see as the strongest found family example within Star Wars in Star Wars rebels.

And that's sort of how we approach the conversation. The conversation does kind of dive deep into how we're all feeling and how we take these themes of Star Wars into our own life. And of course,

it's very relevant right now in terms of the crisis that we're dealing with this global

pandemic. So just keep that in mind as you're listening. Yeah, it definitely went into a

direction that I don't think either of us had planned for in that regard, but it was very cathartic.

Yeah, definitely. It was really good. You know, similar to

Hara, I feel like Vanessa is someone that you just want to like talk you through things.

And she, it was, it was just lovely to talk to her. And yeah, we had a really good time. So I hope
