I find this actually be a really emotional case, especially with her sisters involved.

We were doing the story of Vanessa Gien, the Fort Hood soldier who went missing at the end of April.

Her remains were found on July 1st and then she was officially identified yesterday

actually on July 5th. And it's a really, really sad case,

and it actually holds a lot of upcoming political significance

based on who's involved, Congresswoman,

various activist groups, and this case actually impacted us pretty

deeply especially if you've seen the hashtag I am Vanessa Gien all over social

media Facebook and Twitter where current and past veterans,

female veterans, have come forward with their stories of sexual assault and

sexual harassment. And it's just, it's so devastating. I find this to be of a lot of

significance for women right now. I'm hoping that a lot of reform and change

comes for a lot of the policies.

As a former service member, I can tell you that Sharp probably

is not the best way to go about it

and having internal investigations within the chain of command.

And I think that having an external investigation performed
