I would like to thank my unsung hero.

And this hand slides two warm chocolate chip cookies across the desk.

It was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me.

Today's story comes from Vanessa Grace Miller.

In 2018, Vanessa and her two sisters took a trip to Myanmar.

In the first place that we ended up going was a rural village,

where the only way to transport yourself was through motorcycles,

and we actually made some friends there.

One man was named Coco, who ended up becoming kind of our

impromptu tour guide. He just loved foreigners, so he loved showing people around everywhere.

And we rode around in the village, and we spent the whole day just visiting every temple

that you could possibly go to.

And it culminated in us not having eaten for the whole day from all the excitement.

So Coco and the other tour guide stopped in an alleyway to get them some street food.

And we began eating, and all of a sudden my sister grabbed me, and she goes,

there's shellfish in this.

And I am deathly allergic to shellfish.

And I had eaten quite a bit of this.

And I looked down at my food, and I thought, well, maybe it'll be fine. I don't feel
