Ever since, ever since me, got you late

Welcome, welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day

That hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's Word,

and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, here's a raw question that I hope

you can answer as honestly as possible. Do you find yourself exhausted from trying to live a good

Christian life? Maybe you try to do the right thing, but then you end up doing the wrong thing.

You try to say the right thing, but then, well, you say the wrong thing. And every step forward you take, you stumble two steps backward. Do you ever feel

like that? Well, first of all, you're not alone. But what if there's a better way to approach

this faith journey? You know, even Jesus said, come to me, all who are weary, I will give you

rest. My yoke is easy. My burden is light. Well, this conversation is for you today,

and I actually think it's for every believer. We all kind of bend towards trying to earn our way,

and we strive, and we fall down, and we wear ourselves out. Well, Pastor, author Vance Pittman,

has written in just a beautiful book, and it's titled Unburdened, Stop Living for Jesus,

so Jesus can live through you.
