Welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend some time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, today we're talking about the sacred

chase, about running hard after God. And those of you who followed me or listened for a while,

you know I've battled some health issues, and I've been experiencing kind of a flare up in the last

couple weeks, not feeling that well, some high inflammation

in my body and creates all kinds of issues for me. But anyway, we are on our way. We're getting ready

to do a speaking event for me last Friday. My husband was feeling a little bit protective of me.

And he says, you know, I think I want to get some hand sanitizer for the book table. You can probably

see where this is going. But he's just because we have so many, you know, books and so many people sorting through them. And he just, and I'm shaking

lots of people's hands and my immunities are a little compromise right now. So would you believe,

you probably already know, he looked everywhere and it was sold out everywhere. You could get a

small bottle of it on Amazon for 350 bucks. And it's like the

pandemic fear right now is so heart-wrenching. You know, it really, I just, and the enemy is always

right there to sow seeds of fear when there's a crisis. But all that to say, we were driving to

this event, just about two and a half hours out of town. And I said, hon, I just wonder if this fear is going to impact people coming to this event.

And this event sold out a couple weeks prior to the event.

And because of the venue, they ran out of space.

They sold out at 500 tickets and two or three weeks prior.

So anyway, I'm just thinking, are people going to not come?
