Ampere, I want to talk before we get into the move set that you possessed inside the

ring and who your influence is war.

When you first rolled into Mexico, you came with the braided hair, but you had pretty much

the tattoos and the look, but you weren't wearing a heavy makeup yet.

You maybe had a little bit of black around your eyes or some of the streaks above or below

the eyes and then all of a sudden the girls are going crazy, you're a white meat baby face.

When did you decide to employ the white face paint and take another step, you know,

kind of towards the dark side with respect to the character of Ampere?

Okay, well, when I started doing the eye thing, I was so shy that I wanted to hide my face

and they were like, you can't, that's what sells money, you fuck it.

You know what I mean? They were like, that's your draw.

There was a lot of the death metal scene and the black metal movement out of no way and all that.

A lot of the death metal musicians at the time had that look, the dark eyes and the little streak.

I took it from that, from trash metal, you know what I mean?

And that's where I got it from.

And I started playing around with painting the face.

I was just a fan of it, of the road warriors.

So I kind of tried to copy them and then I'm like, who am I kidding?

And I went to see the brand Lee movie and I was like, fuck, that's an awesome look.

And I love it and it's martial arts and this and that.
