Okay, we are live. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show of a very special guest, a returning guest.

His name is Frank Stanfield. Last name is spelled S-T-A-N-F-I-E-L-D. And we spoke last year, 2021 about a fascinating book on a subject I really wanted to know more about. He has a first person knowledge of what's known as maybe the vampire clan, Kentucky vampire clan.

The title of his book that we talked about previously is cold-blooded,

a true crime story of a murderous teenage vampire cult.

I may just take it out and republish it along

with this book that he just published in 2022. The title of that is vampires, gators, and wackos,

a newspaperman's life. And really interesting book with a lot of first person stories of his

interesting life as a newspaperman, which you work for for 40 years,

working for the Ocallo Star Banner, the Orlando Sentinel, the Wilmington Star News, Daily Commercial,

and the Augusta Chronicle. And his first book was Unbroken, The Dorothy Lewis Story.

He received a master's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and a bachelor's

degree in political science from the University of North Florida. He was a sergeant in the Air Force

during the Vietnam era. He lives in Central Florida with his wife, Jackie. They have three
