Welcome to the show. It's a Tuesday night. We've got a really spectacular one for you.

You know how we kind of steer this show through a bunch of different topics.

We cover a lot of really, really cool things on the program. Some of them are more mystical than others.

Tonight, we're going to talk about some real life stuff. It's going to be quite fascinating, though.

In fact, you know my love for popular music, particularly

if I had to ask you who my favorite artists were musically, you would be able to tell me,

I'm sure, because I've talked about them often. The Beatles, Elvis Presley topped the list,

of course. And we're going to be talking about both of those tonight. Our guest, Jillian Gar,

has written 17 books, many of them about popular music icons. And we're going to cover a few

of these. One of her books is about women in rock and roll. It's called She's a Rebel.

And then we're also going to talk about Return of the King, which is about Elvis Presley's great comeback.

And then also, the third of the three rock and roll books will spend some time with is entertain us the rise of Nirvana.

We'll also get some Beatles discussion in there as well.

And then we're going to start the conversation off talking about Vampira.

Or better yet, her real name, the actress's name, is Mala Nirmie.

And her story is quite tragic.

We're going to spend a little bit of time talking about that, but we have so much to cover tonight.
