Championship the past two years now has a

stacked field. Last year's field was the best it's ever been for Tampa, and this year,

the field depth is actually bigger because the field has been shrunk. It's down from 156 players

to 133 players. The 133 is still one of the biggest that we're going to see all season long.

And as we heard from the commissioner on Wednesday at the Players' Championship,

if this tournament sticks around, it's probably going to be an even smaller field.

Next time around, and this is probably the last year of the field,

will be this good because a lot of players have now used the Valspar as their master's warmup. There's only three events between now and the Masters. You have this and you have both Texas events. A lot of guys will either take Houston because it's a big driver off the T-course. We saw Scotty and Rory play there a year ago or the Valero because that's the week before. And a lot of guys are using that as their last chance to get in to Augusta, if they're not already previously in. But it seems like a lot of the players, as we get to the field here in a second, like the drive from, or the plane ride, as I found out that when I went to TGL last week, I was talking to Mimmo. He's like, yeah, they flew us in from Orlando. It's a like 90-minute drive to SoFi Stadium from Bay Hill. And they're like, no, no, they flew us in.

Don't worry about that. So they're probably going to fly from Jacksonville to Tampa. But a lot of guys are just sticking around in Florida, making this their final prep before Augusta. And like I said, the field is absolutely loaded. Victor Hovlin's back to defend his title. From a year ago, Justin Thomas was in second place last year.

Fitzpatrick. Ricky Castillo. Thorbjorn Olison. And Cory Cod, there's like eight Canadians in the field.

Kegan Bradley, Aaron Rye, Keith Mitchell, they're all here this week. So a pretty stack field. This is the best field that we're going to see in the next three weeks. We're going to see a pretty good one in Houston, a pretty lacklester one at the Valero where Brian Harmon's going to try to defend his title,

but this is the one.
