Let me be clear. That's not a rousing endorsement. But I'm not, if you think you're tuning in today for

me to yell and scream, it's not going to happen because here's the overriding message. The lion's got

better. They did. I'd be an ass to come on the air and tell you that they're not better. Now,

they may not be better in the right places. They may not be better in the ways you wanted.

And I know Rico and I are going to have a specific disagreement and that's cool. I'm down

because he may be right. I may be right. I can't. I don't know yet. But let me just say this.

As a show, I think we did a good job in this regard. A, I've warned you for months. Please stop

the mock. Just stop. I beg of you. You read these things. You assign faulty value to them.

And then when, not if when teams don't draft the players that old hairspray tells you they're

going to draft, you get upset. Let me be very clear with you. You being upset because they didn't take

who Kuiper or McShay said they would take. That's on you. Those guys do not know the value boards.

They never do. Two, I think this show did a good job telling you. This is not that great of a draft

that this is guys, the GMs are squawking here. 13 first round grades, 16 first round grades.

So let me just at least offer you this. I don't know if Brad Holmes is going to be right with how he

values players. But if we go into this assuming, let's say the Lions only had 16 first round

grades, half of the first round. They had 16 of them. That's it.

Three of them are QBs takes you to 13.

Now the three of them are offensive linemen. That means there are 10 players that they might view

as draftable. Now they probably had a couple first round grades on wide receivers. Is that fair?

Yeah. That's taking down to eight. So now I got eight players. And they were never going to be

able to get B. John. So now I got seven. They could have gotten B. Well, it would have,

if that would have been wholly absurd at five at six. I'm making a point. They move down to 12.
