I just wanted to bring something up because we were making jokes about last night's game during the break.

And like I understand, please just, I'm begging you.

I don't need a thousand texts about, well, it's about money.

We know it's about money.

What I'm debating is something different.

Not all money is good money.

These Thursday night games, by and large, are absolute garbage.

It's almost as if players don't have enough time to recover because they don't, and coaches

don't have enough time to truly plan because they don't. And what you end up with is a 10-7 football game last night, which was horrific.

Most of these Thursday night games are absolutely terrible. And when you talk to players,

players loathe these games, their bodies are still not recovered from the week before.

The week to week of the NFL taxes you.

And your parking meter is never full.

I wish T.J. were still here.

I know he'd ring the bell on this.

But when you shorten your window of recovery to 72 hours,

that is an absurdity.

But yet, we do this.

And it's, well, you know, the league's making, it's like the argument,

RICO, about all the money going on in college football.

Well, it's a great deal for Big Ten schools.
