Hello, my fellow historians, happy Sunday.

Welcome back to another edition of Valar Reritas for the World of Ice and Fire.

We're dipping into a new era today. It is the era known as the age of heroes. And it's

a long era. It's full of cool stuff, full of names and figures and characters and parallels.

It's really bringing the business, as they say. And because of that, it's probably going to take us two,

maybe three episodes to cover. There's so many rabbit holes, so many fun characters. So we'll

see how it goes. And when there's that many rabbit holes, well, the chances increase that we

stumble into some particularly deep ones. And already preparing this

week's episode, we found ourselves in some rabbit holes of that variety, some pretty cool real world

stuff, some influences, well, maybe not real world. Real world is real world beliefs, we'll say.

Depends on whether you actually believe that Zeus was real or is real.

We found out this week that Zeus is real.

Yeah.

So it is actually a pretty groundbreaking episode.

Given that this is such a monumental episode, a thunderbolt of an episode,

what special beverage are you drinking to celebrate our Lord and Savior Zeus?

I've been pretty consistently. I realized for a while that I've been using the naked drinks

part of the mix forever because it's got the most protein and nutrients and stuff. And I'm

sticking with bang. I have the green, the protein green naked drink,

the mango peach bang. But I've also gone back to my roots, good old Mountain Dew in here.

Oh, I was going to ask if you had switched from Mountain Dew to bang, but no.
