The race for a COVID-19 vaccine could be slowing down at least a little bit. One of the trials is now on hold because a volunteer got sick.

We're talking about the possible vaccine from

AstraZeneca which was developed by the University of Oxford. Trials have

been underway not only in the UK but also in the US, Brazil and South Africa.

Here in the US it's one of only three potential vaccines

that's made it to the final phase of testing.

But now, it's on hold everywhere.

Stat news reports it's standard protocol

to pause the trial and start a safety review
