It's brilliant to hear people actually getting this sort of little medical miracle it seems.

Yesterday I got an email from Paul Bowne and Sheffield who just told a really good story

about taking his neighbour, Henry, to go and get vaccinated.

And Paul is here now.

Hello Paul.

Hi, so before we hear about the vaccine story, tell us a bit about Henry and your relationship

with him.

So yeah, Henry is 82 born in 1938, I think in Chesterfield and he's lived in Sheffield for

maybe 30 years and he tells me he used to drink in the same pub as John Prescott in

Brixton.

He hasn't got any family close by, he's got a brother that lives in Greece.

We've lived here for moved up from London 18 months ago or so and generally just

before the pandemic would see him more often and maybe go around for a cup of tea or

he'd come over to ours for a cup of tea.

Once a week, obviously not been able to do that as much and different stages during the

pandemic, been trying to support him, call the doctor and his phone wasn't working for

a period so he would come over to mine and we call them on the phone and so that's how

the doctor had our number to call us to try and get in contact about him having the vaccine.

Oh, so he got the invitation for the vaccine via you?

Well, the GP tried to contact him that they couldn't get through but they had my partner

Lucy's number and yeah, so it came around to vaccine day, which what day was that?
