I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are discussing VHS from 2012.

Directed by Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Ty West, Glenn McQuid, Joe Swanberg, Chad Viella, Justin Martinez, Matt Bettenelli, Open, and Tyler Gillette, written by Brad Mieska, Simon Barrett, Nicholas Tukoski, and pretty much all the directors I just mentioned.

Starring many actors, I won't name them all here, this is an anthology, if you don't know that already,

which is why there are so many directors, writers, and actors.

And in this film, a group of delinquents break into a house

on a mission to retrieve of the HS tape

and discover disturbing footage on some of the tapes that they find in the house.

If you're new to the show,

we're going to discuss this movie spoiler-free for the first 15 or 20 minutes, just background

info and stuff. But then after that, we're going to transition into spoiler mode and play some

music so you know that's when spoiler mode is happening. And you can go watch this movie on

Prime, and I think it might be streaming

one or two other places so once you hear that transition music it's time to duck out and watch

the film because we're going to spoil it and this has been requested by yes right arms i think

old boy and big turkey if not if they didn't request it, they at least said, hey, good idea to cover this

one soon. And so here we are. And there's like a movie every year from these for the past three

years. So it's about time we get around to covering the first one. Yeah, didn't one like just come out

a few days ago? Yeah, very recently, I feel like.
