United We Stand podcast. I'm Andy Mitten and I'm in Nicosia, the divided capital of Cyprus. It's a beautiful day here.

I crossed over the border.

I went into the northern Cyprus or the occupied side of the city,

according to all the maps here, after the 1974 invasion.

I've seen loads of United fans around. Just pumped

into Peter Boland. How are you? I'm fine. Thanks. How are you? Yeah, all good, mate. Tell me

about your trip. Yeah, we've flown in Tuesday into Larnika. Two days in Larnika, come up to

date to Nicosia on the intercity bus, staying one night here and then back to Larnica

into the same apartment we stayed in before and then flying back Saturday for the game on Sunday.

Nice trip now? Yeah, it's been lovely. We've bumped into lots of people. There's a lot of my mates

are all over the place. I've got friends who have gone to Larnica, friends who've gone to Pathos, and because I'm at my age, I know nobody who's gone to Inapper. I just saw some of the old Solford lads and they were saying, I've been with the younger ones in Ayanapa, but they were no trouble. I think there were a lot there. And then, what's the time now? it's half past The game starts in just over three hours. Why are you in Nicosia earlier? Why didn't you get the bus? Well, there was a bus that United were doing, but it's leaving at half five, and they're not expected to get here until the hour before the game starts. And one lad that I met in the pub last night, he said, a bit early I said I don't need to get there till kick off

and I'm totally the opposite
