When we recessed, the witness had been passed for cross-examination, so I'll ask the defense to proceed, please.

So, you know, last time we left the day before yesterday, the jury was, the jury left the room and then now they're back today.

And so I kind of want to go through a few things.

I think the first thing I want to talk about though is just when we,

you weren't there when we picked the jury.

We asked them if they gave us permission to ask tough questions of witnesses that are like you,

have gone through trauma, have gone through tragedy.

And so I just want you to know that we've asked them if we could do that,

and every one of them there has agreed.
