This is episode 684 of the unofficial Universal Orlando podcast for October 14th, 2025.

0:23.6

Hey everyone, welcome to the show. It is me, Lee. I am on my own this week. I have

0:43.1

give Tracy, Chris and Michelle the week off because we are in Orlando, checking out Epic Universe

0:47.8

again and going to Halloween Horror Nights. But to pull the curtain back, I'm recording this at

0:51.9

the end of August. So there might be a little bit of Halloween Horror Nights chat in this, but nothing from an experiential point of view, because I'm trying to stay spoiler-free right now, and it is so difficult. But you'll have seen from the title of this, it's a new series of podcasts that I've been thinking about for a while, where I wanted to invite Universal Orlando content creators onto the podcast, and to kind talk about them and their journey and then just have a chat about Universal Orlando.

1:16.2

And our first guests are people who I only found relatively recently on YouTube and kind of fell in love with what they were doing.

1:25.3

We actually bumped into them at Epic Universe on Opening Day, which was super cool. I'm sure we'll talk about that because one of the best rides on Stardust Races ever. I am joined by Ben and Aubrey from The Fudge Factor. Hey, guys, thanks for joining me. Hello, thanks for having us. You are my guinea pig, so I hope it goes all right. We love it. Yeah, like I say, Aubrey, we kind of talked about it when we were getting on Stardust

1:47.7

Races that I discovered you guys from your Halloween Horror Nights opening.

1:51.9

Was it the opening night food video from that year?

1:54.4

Yeah, where we just ate all the food.

1:58.5

It's good, because I know you talked about it with me and I thought it was a really clever

2:02.6

idea that you said like you didn't get media for Horror Nights that year.

2:06.1

So what can you do that is going to make you stand out against everyone getting house content?

2:11.9

And I thought it was a really good idea.

2:13.9

We looked back at the data and we were like, hey, like night one is filled with bigger content creators and how do we separate ourselves? And we had seen some data from smaller creators that had taken the similar tactic and they were like, let's do food. And so we're like, let's give it a whirl. Yeah. And it worked out really, really well for us. No, well, it's like, if you can't get in the houses, what's the next most important thing when it comes to Halloween Horowitz? The food. Of course, the food. I said there'd be Halloween Horror Nights chat already. Yeah. I mean, you say smaller creators. I'm still blown away by the fact that we got invited to Halloween Horror Nights Media for opening night this year, and I still don't really get get it or why we got invited to Epic. But yeah, that's why I said to you, Aubrey, when we bumped into, I'm surprised we didn't see you guys at the opening of Epic because I thought if we got invited, there's no reason why you guys didn't. And you were like, we're small. And I'm like, yeah, so are we. But yeah, it'll happen. one, congratulations on going to Bajjian media light.

3:10.3

Well, I won't be.

3:11.2

Unfortunately, yeah, so are we. But, eh, it'll happen. One, congratulations on going to be.

3:40.8

I wasn't bragging by the end. Well, I won't be. Unfortunately, I'm not there then, so I'm having to send Chris and Michelle. They're in for a treat. It's hard, but I know Chris has done it twice for us before, and he said it's fun to do a media event, but it's hard work. Oh, I can only imagine. Like, there's so much to pack into one night. And as far as shooting that type of content and making sure that you're covering everything you want, and you only have a limited period, like, the first time we get that opportunity someday, I mean, we'll keep my fingers crossed. Like, I'm going to be nervous as well, get'll get out. So I'm excited for you guys. That's so exciting. I know it's like walking into

3:44.8

Epic Universe for the first. Again, I feel like I'm humble bragging and I'm not at all because

3:48.4

it's, I have still so humbled by it. But it was just like, we're seeing like Tim Tracker and

3:54.6

Jackie Super Enthused and Prince, all these vloggers who we watch content-wise. I'm like, why am I here? But any. It's fine, a humble brag. I mean, you got invited and that is just a statement of fact. And honestly, like, congratulations to you. That means you're doing something rightly. I mean, I guess that's true. Yeah, I don't know what it is yet. We'll figure that out at some point, but whatever. Anyway, right, let's get into it. So the first thing I wanted
