0:24.7	A man in Georgia is charged with killing his fiancé back in January earlier this year. We're joined by Caitlin Ross from WXIA 11 in Atlanta, Georgia,
0:31.3	to tell us about what happened and what's happening now with this case. There are some real
0:36.5	concerns from the family and friends of the
0:39.4	victim about the status of the man charged in this case. Caitlin, tell me about what happened
0:45.2	back in January.
0:46.2	So what we know from police is that on Kelly Hooper's 36th birthday, they were asked to perform
0:50.9	a welfare check at the couple's apartment in Roswell, Georgia, which is about 30 minutes outside of Midtown, Atlanta.
0:57.7	And they found Kelly Hooper shot to death on her 36th birthday.
1:02.0	From there, they were looking for Jason Hall, who was her fiancé.
1:06.7	Jason Hall had allegedly fled the scene and went to his parents' house.
1:11.0	Police were eventually able to track him down after he left his parents' house, and there
1:15.9	was an hour-long standoff with police.
1:18.7	He did eventually surrender to police and was arrested that night, and from there, we know
