Summary

We know that within the next 24 months there is going to be some kind of downturn or recession here in the US, and possibly around the world.

It’s crucial now more than ever for us to be thinking about how we are going to set our businesses up for success during this time. We don’t just want our business to survive, but we want it to THRIVE. Some of the most significant transfers of wealth in this country happened during a recession.

Back in 2008/2009, when the market was at a downturn, myself and my team had our highest sales year. In this episode, I’m not only going to be breaking down critical strategies of what your business should be doing during the downturn, but I’m also going to be talking about mindset.

Mindset is so important, especially during a time when your competitors will be shutting their doors, and you think you have to too. Make sure you listen all the way through so you can have your business THRIVE during the next downturn.

1:20.9	period like this is incredibly important and is going to have a massive
1:26.8	impact on how you get through it and what your results look like. There's going to
1:31.6	be a certain population of people that go into
1:34.8	these times saying I'm going to turn this into the biggest opportunity of my
1:39.2	lifetime and I'm going to position myself as a dominant force to take advantage of the climate and what's going on here
1:47.0	And I'm going to lean in all the way and then there's going to be other people that are operating scared and they're
1:54.5	operating fearful and they are pulling back and they're making you know bad
2:00.0	short-term decisions and those people unfortunately are probably not going to make it through.
