emphatic World Cup winning two-to-one win over Paraguay in a friendly that was very good

and comforting in a lot of ways.

Graham Ruthven, was it comforting for you, given the experience just prior to this game?

Hello, Taylor Rockwell. Yes, it was very comforting. I was ready to come on this show very

excited and upbeat about the US, but now you've mentioned it's a Sunday show. Should I, like, lower my voice by an octave or two? That's what you do in the radio, right, when it's a Sunday show. It's just a camera vibe to things. I'm not entirely sure I've ever recorded with you on a Sunday. So this is a new experience. I don't think we have. I appreciate that you dressed in full bishop's robes for today's episode. Very, I mean, very on point.

It just looks on YouTube like a bishop road. But yes, watching the US last night was a calming

experience after I had to endure the experience of watching Scotland do whatever Scotland

did last night, not entirely sure.

Lost 3-2 to Greece.

We're 3-0 down after 60 minutes.

Absolutely abysmal up until that point.

Brought it back to 3-2, but then completely unexpectedly,

and maybe Joe was in Nostradamus on this,

because he did say on Friday's weekend or not to rule out Belarus,

which, by the way, we had the correct opinion on that.

Belarus were always going to get beaten in that game until last night when somehow they took a two to draw away to Denmark.

So Scotland drew but are somehow still in World Cup qualification contention

and it goes down to Tuesday night. So I can't lie, it took me about like 10 minutes because basically the Scotland game ended and in the US game kicked off. It took me about 10 minutes to get my head in this game and sort of calmed down a little bit because my head was on Mars. Dude, I still can't believe. Like, it's the gif from Ballad of Buster Scruggs of, like, James Franco with his head in a news saying, like, first time. Like, I cannot believe how correct they proved you with this game and this performance, Scotland. To be three-n-downed down that quickly, I was just like, oh, poor Graham. Oh, poor Graham. But it's still alive and the USA won. Gior Raina did that for you. He looked down the barrel of the camera, Graham and said, that's poor Graham. But still alive and the USA won. Giorina did that for you. He looked down the barrel of the camera gram and said, that's for Graham Ruthven, a man whom I'm always loved. He looked down the barrel of camera and certainly said something twice. I don't know whether that was a thank you note to Joe Lowry. By the way, it's just cruel that Gorena set up balligan for a goal for the USM&T in

2025. And Joe isn't on this episode to talk about it. So a moral victory lap for Mr. Lowry on today's episode, I don't know. I think we go the other way. And I think we're just, like, sandbag him entirely. Like, Joe's been saying for the longest time that it should be peppy, and it should be Tillman

and that that's the lineup he wants.
