Hello, hello everybody and welcome to the total soccer show. My name is Taylor Rockwell, and today we're going to be talking about a whole bunch of U.S. men's national team. I feel like it's been a long time since we did that. There are lots of players doing lots of things. I am able to keep track of a small percentage of them. Today's guest, a much larger percentage.

It's Brian Shoretta of American Soccer. Now, Brian, it is great to have you back on the show. As always, Taylor, thanks so much for having me back on. It's been too long. It has, it has. But we're going to remedy that now, easy for me to say, by talking about a lot of Americans for a very long time. I do have roughly 500 or so I want to get to.

late Monday night with the transfer window in Europe now closed. One deal, I believe, was like sort

of finalized, still kind of confused, was Brendan Aronson joining R.B. Salisberg in January?

Two questions there, the first one.

Do you like this step in his career?

Yeah, I absolutely do like this step in his career.

You know, he put in his, you know, when you look at his progression with what he did

between last year and this year, it was really impressive.

I mean, hey, he's staying for the rest of the year, which

I like. I mean, I like finishing the job. I like competing for titles. I like, you know,

particularly continuing that bond with your hometown team. That's very important, especially, you know,

and, you know, he has a lot of ties of Philadelphia. His brother is going to be joined. He'll be joining the Philadelphia Union first team sooner than later. So there's a lot of good things to do. And, but, A, I also didn't think he was ever going to really make inroads with the first team until the Austrian Bundes League of winter break. So you might as well stay around and, and you have a manager over there who values, you know,

winning the MLS Cup and winning MLS Cup and not that you ever did it, but like, and then

valuing that competition and wanting to see that kind of progression too.

So that's all very good.

But, you know, in terms of his, you know, he grew in physical size and

stature and between his first year and second year, he can go full 90s easily. You know, and I think

it's ready for the next challenge up. And I hope Philadelphia, I hope he has a really good chance
