Instead, I'm going to be joined by Bobby Warshaw of MLS Soccer fame. Bobby joined me to look back at the USA-Jamaica games, such as it was, and then take a more detailed look at Greg Burrhalter's Gold Cup roster.

There has been much consternation, much concern about it, so we're going to go deep on that.

But I should also add, as I said, at the very end of this interview, that I initially thought we would go for about half an hour, Max, me and Bobby talking.

Instead, we went for almost an hour because aside from just kind of talking about the individual players and the roster itself, we go kind of deep on aspects of the, like, how do you build a roster, which players does Bobby think would fit better in certain situations? And then also a little bit about sort of like

the trials and tribulations of being a fan of this U.S. national team, because it does feel like it is a more stressful time to be a U.S. fan than maybe ever, which is strange to say, given that we failed to qualify for a World Cup only a year and a half ago. But that's kind of the situation I think we're in. So we talk a lot about a lot of different things. It's the best way I can explain it, all of them relating to the U.S. national team, a lot of them relating to this Gold Cup roster. So, hopefully you all enjoy. I definitely did. And with that in mind, I will just turn it over to me and Bobby talking about lots of stuff. With me now, I've got my friend and yours. It's Mr. Bobby Warshaw. Hey, Bobby, how you doing? Oh, good, man. Thanks for having me. Always a pleasure. Always excited to get to talk to you about the national team. We've got the Gold Cup roster. To discuss, there's been much discussion of it already online, on Twitter, especially. But first, I wanted to talk about what everyone enjoyed was the USA's one-no-lost to Jamaica, which was maybe one of the worst games.

I told my wife that I've seen the United States play in quite some time, maybe ever.

Bobby, what were your major takeaways from that game,

or how were you feeling at full-time of that game?

I was feeling probably the same as everyone listening to the show.
